Walk A - Old Milverton
WALK DESCRIPTION
The Saxon Mill public house in Warwick.
A short, stile-free walk is fairly dry underfoot in all weathers. There is one steep slope. It gives good views of places of historical interest.
Starting at the Saxon Mill pub the walk passes by the mill pond going over the river Avon and on to Old Milverton Church. Going over arable land it provides views of Guy's Cliffe House and of the St Mary Magdalene Chapel on the opposite bank of the river Avon before getting back to the Saxon Mill pub.
PARKING
Park in the Saxon Mill car park.
Permission has been given by the owner or manager for walkers to leave their vehicles in the car park on the understanding that they will patronise the establishment either before or after the walk.
A layby a few yards further along from the Saxon Mill towards Warwick provides further parking.
