Walk P - Kenilworth & Meer End
WALK DESCRIPTION
The Tipperary Inn public house in Honiley.
An interesting and varied walk through woodland and meadow. Some boggy ground.
The walk starts at the Tipperary Inn. Halfway round are the Queen & Castle and Clarendon Arms pubs near Castle Green and Kenilworth Castle, waypoint 7. The Short walk starts from here which may also be used as an alternative start point.
To the south lies the former WW2 airfield RAF Honiley.
From the Tipperary Inn several fields are crossed before Rudfyn Manor is passed on the way to Kenilworth. On the return Chase Wood is passed before going through woodland and and enclosed path to the rear of some houses after which the Tipperary Inn is reached.
