Walk Z - Cubbington, Hunningham
& Weston Under Wetherley
WALK DESCRIPTION
An interesting and varied walk travelling ancient tracks, going alongside the river Leam, through meadow & ancient woodland.
Starting at The Kings Head pub in the village of Cubbington this walk passes alongside South Cubbington Wood and the Cubbington Pear Tree before making its way through a spinney passing the site of Weston Corn Mill before crossing the river Leam.
The walk continues alongside the river Leam towards Hunningham by Saint Margaret's church (The Red Lion pub is nearby) then on to Wappenbury and the churches of Saint John and Saint Ann.
On reaching Weston Under Wetherley the church of Saint Michael is passed after which the walk passes through South Cubbington Wood before returning to Cubbington and The Kings Head.
PARKING
Park near The Kings Head in Church Hill or in Church Lane.
