WALK  DESCRIPTION

Starting point:

The Chesford Grange Hotel in Kenilworth.

The walk and Places of interest:

A varied short walk with a river, woods and buildings of historical interest .

A stile free walk starting at the Chesford Grange Hotel , bar snacks and afternoon tea are available here. After  going through Ashow village and passing by  Ashow Village Club (which welcomes visitors) one enters the churchyard of  The Assumption of Our Lady. The walk continues over the river Avon and on over arable land to the Kenilworth Road. After crossing the road Blackdown Mill is seen to the left before passing through woodland and over a brook back to the start at the Chesford Grange Hotel.

PARKING

Park in the Chesford Grange Hotel car park. Exit is by keypad and barrier. Remember to ask reception for the number to key in when leaving the bar. The number changes weekly.

Permission has been given by the owner or manager for walkers to leave their vehicles in the car park on the understanding that they will patronise the establishment either before or after the walk.
